Admissions - General Information
The Chandler CofE Junior School is a Voluntary Aided Own Admissions Authority (OAA) school, with a three form entry into Year 3. As an OAA school, The Chandler is responsible for applying its admission criteria, ranking the list of applicants and maintaining a waiting list.
Surrey County Council Admissions manages the application process and has a statutory duty to coordinate applications and allocations for Year 3 as part of the normal admissions new round, and also processes in-year applications for all years on the school’s behalf.
All applications for a school place should be made directly through Surrey County Council Admissions using their Centrally Managed Application form ('CMA').

From 3 November 2025, parents/carers who live in Surrey will be able to apply for a primary school place. Applicants can apply online at:
The closing date for Year 3 applications is 15 January 2026. If you apply after the deadline, you may be considered a late applicant. For a further explanation regarding late applications, please follow the link below:
Applications must be returned directly to the child's home local authority and not the school.
On 16 April 2026, applicants who applied online will receive the outcome of their application by email. Applicants who have opted to receive a notification through the app 'ParentComms' or the eAdmissions website will also receive a notification with the outcome of their application. Letters will be sent via first class post to applicants who applied on paper and do not have an email address.
By 30 April 2026, applicants will be asked to accept or decline their offer online, or if they have made a paper application, by returning the paper reply slip to the School Admissions team.
