Deputy Headteacher
We are seeking an inspiring and dedicated Deputy Headteacher to join The Chandler.
Working in close partnership with the Headteacher, you will play a key role in shaping our Christian ethos, driving our vision of Every Light Shining, and ensuring an exceptional education for all pupils. Learning Support Assistant (LSA) and Midday Supervisor (MDS)
We are looking for an enthusiastic, pro-active LSA with a good sense of humour and a friendly approach to join our lively staff team in April 2026. You will provide support either to a child on a one-to-one basis, or with a small group of pupils. You will also be required to undertake MDS duties during the pupils’ lunchtime break.
We are ideally looking for someone to work five full days a week. However, applications are also invited from candidates who are able to offer a different work pattern. LSA roles are paid on Surrey SP4 pay range (£25,052 per annum, Full Time Equivalent). MDSs are paid on Surrey SP1/2 (£23,322 per annum, Full Time Equivalent). Indicative pay for five full days a week on a term time only basis is £18,984 per annum. Actual pay will be dependent on individual timetabled hours, and the skills and experience of the successful candidate.
You will be confident in Maths and English (Grade “C” or “4” GCSE or equivalent required in both), be patient and flexible, a good team player and have empathy and openness with children.
